Using Pattern from my own clothes, I made an outline of the back of my
body from a photograph I took from my phone and transferred it onto paper. I
then printed off a second A3 paper, but this time using the pattern from my
jacket. What I wanted was to get the outline of the portrait, not the detail
because I wanted the pattern to be the main part of this piece, and have a
positive final outcome. I used black paper to contrast the red so that it
stands out from the black to make this more of a stronger piece of work.
